Sleaford

In Sleaford the job was a stone cottage. The photograph shows its gable after masonry restoration, the stonework and the window surrounds restored, with a church tower standing behind the house. Stone needs the same care as brick: the failed material comes out, the sound stone stays, and the repair is bedded in a mortar that lets the wall breathe. Older houses in and around Sleaford with tired stonework are the kind of work we are set up for.
