Donington

The Donington project was a stone house with a new single-storey extension. The photographs show the extension finished in buff brick under a standing-seam metal roof, and the new buff brickwork running along the extension wall while it was being built, alongside the restoration of the original masonry. Putting a modern brick extension onto a stone house without it looking stuck on is a matter of proportion and of choosing the brick well. We would be glad to look at a similar project in Donington.
